Born in Arlington, Texas on March 3, 1965, JP Woodruff has built a lifetime of experience grounded in hard work, faith, and service. An athlete from a young age, JP earned an Orange Bowl ring at the University of Nebraska in 1983. He continued his collegiate athletic career playing football at San Diego State University, then finished at the University of Texas at Arlington playing baseball. He went on to play professional baseball with the Phillies and Tigers.
During off-seasons, he worked in the oil and gas industry, which became the foundation for a successful 30+ year career. JP served as Senior Vice President for Titan Oil and Gas and consulted for multiple energy companies. In 2002, he founded Black Forest Energy LLC and Jensen Operating Co., overseeing all operations including acquisition, leasing, and drilling programs.
Since 2013, JP has provided consulting services across oil and gas companies and has diversified into renewable energy as owner of Best Way Solar LLC. He is also the founder of Revival Remnant Ministries, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to spiritual and practical empowerment.
